Leaving thousands of families struggling to find child care or missing work.

This is a program that never should have been touched, and is underfunded to start with.

Head Start was a failure from its inception. It should be eliminated.

More like government bloat that never should have existed in the first place.

Education has always largely been a state and local responsibility. The federal government does not need to be involved. While I agree it's problematic to suddenly yank funds without warning, all of these non-essential functions need to be defunded. The federal government is $35 trillion in debt and climbing. I'm glad to see someone finally taking this problem seriously.

This is horrible. Headstart is a great program that helps young children from low income families. It looks like Trump and Musk are trying to cancel all the Great Society programs started by LBJ and Sargent Shriver back in the 1960s.
Do they want millions of people to return to the misery and poverty we saw pre-1960? That's what it looks like. Is this what Trump voters wanted? :disbelief:

These are essential. What is not is our 800 billion dollars annually spent on the military. How about cutting that in half? We spend more on our military than the other top ten military nations spend combined. This nation has lost more than 51 trillion dollars since 1990 due to racism. You don't want to fix that, instead, you cosign the racist jibberish. If not for racism, we'd be 16 trillion dollars ahead and as long as we do nothing about racism, we are going to continue losing over 1 trillion dollars per year.

Screw states rights. Some things need federal standards and focus. Educating our citizens should be a top priority of the federal government.

Let it be known, it all started with the elimination of the Head Start program.

Its up to congress both D and R to make sure none of the changes made will have a negative effect on those who are in real need. President Trump stated it himself .

It's administered by the executive in line with the president's agenda in accordance with the wishes of the people.
The people want lower grocery prices, not the end of headstart. Nor do they want an unelected immigrant visa overstay deciding what should be cut, or knowing our social security information.

If you loons understood what Americans wanted you wouldn't have lost. The notion of self reflection is foreign to you, so get used to losing over and over again.
