He Who Can, Does; He Who Cannot, Takes A Job With A Federal Safety Agency

There's a question on all the job application forms for these federal government security guard positions: Have you been on welfare at any time in the last six months? A "yes" answer gets you a job. A "no" answer and your application goes to the bottom of the stack. That's why we see so few unemployed whites getting these jobs.

I remember the story in your link about the Transportation Security Administration agents in Miami who held a TV reporter from Washington, DC, for 45 minutes demanding he produce a passport because his driver's license said "District of Columbia", and they thought he was an illegal alien from a South American county. They shouldn't feel too embarrassed though. They're no dumber than that other token in the White House.
