I'm a wannabe pilot so hopefully, everyone will take this for the humor it is intended. However, when it comes to unadulterated speed in anything less than a rocket, the Air Force is the Undisputed king of speed.....

Ah. I found the speaking engagement from that first clip. It is from a sled pilot named Brian Shul. His story and accomplishments are amazing.

The clip is from a keynote presentation given at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory (I've been in that facility. They used to provide us with our standardized sample for calibration of our equipment) and the presentation is from Brian Shul, a sled pilot. HIs story, along with this presentation, is an inspirational one. Well worth your time in My opinion. However, the speech is pretty long. Over an hour.
