I just bought 2 family size 20z boxes of cereal from WalMart, they were less than 5 bucks each.

How the hell is WalMart supposed to hit record profits selling things so cheap?

This is an outrage!
are you trying to convince us food prices haven't skyrocketed during Bribens Marxist reign ? yeah ... run on that dembot ..

They’ve gone up a bit. Certainly nothing to get worked up over. More of an inconvenience than anything else.

But fear not. Everything will be back to normal once St Trumpy gets re-elected.

not enough to be concerned about ? WOW ! so much for the lefts claim of represented the middle class and the poor !

The party that likes to fuck kids says "Lower your expectations".

Yeah, you used to eat spaghetti, but now it's time to eat the off-brand fruit loops for dinner. It won't hurt you. The briben crime family requests that shut your fucking mouth (or we'll shut it for you) and thank-you for the 6 opulent mansions - while you're gagging down off-brand rice puffs, we're thinking about you.

michelle give up.webp

Two giant bags of Frosted Flakes are now just over $6 at Costco.

Dumbass MAGA are too stupid to shop properly.

Sure .. lets ALL shop at costco... all those employees who work at Luckys, Safeway, Raleys etc ... can all get laid off because the business model cant compete. No, the reality is the average prices have all skyrocketed and it has an effect. Cherry pick if you want, but even those cheap ceral boxes are now holding less cereal inside.

people dont live on cereal....

This week CVS had name brand cereal Lucky Charms $1.99 a box. (need the CVS card) and a few other flavors. Normally it was $6.00 a box.

Well here’s an idea: Maybe instead of pissing away all your money on giant pickup trucks and tattoo “sleeves”, you keep some of it aside to pay for important things like food.

Stupid oxyen. The point is the rate of increase. I posted about a year ago Family box of Frosted Flakes (the real ones, not some generic BS in a white sack). Was now $5. It had been $3.98 prior. It may have been $2.98 in 2019?

Who keeps track? All of everything went up fast. Frosted Flakes did not yet go back down with fuel cost.

GaterDem is blowing 20% increase as no big deal? It is to single mothers with 6 kids.

BS, its also a moving target. Eggs high…then low. Chaos. Was not like that before. $150 used to buy what suddenly adds up to $400 for example. Nobody wants to eat carrots, lettuce and oatmeal everyday. Good Bread jumped up near $5 even at Walmart. Nobody wants generic everthing either. TUMS went up to $5.50 were $3.98. Not long ago.

Stores will often offer sales and take losses on some products because for example, people dont go to CVS to only buy Lucky Charms. They will buy other things that CVS will make a larger profit on. It doesnt really reflect the true prices. If you went back to the time that average cereal prices were $2.00 a box, I bet you would find cereal on sale for $.99 per box.
