As an ex-retail worker for many, many years.........many of the retail employees from all sects of retail wish they could carry guns or tasers to fight off the criminal elements like this.

Unfortunately, the corporations would rather just jack up the prices to cover losses, instead of doing the ethical and CORRECT thing.........getting rid of the criminal elements.

And besides all this, soda doesn't cost much. In fact, what food places are REALLY selling you, is the cup, as that is the most expensive part of any drink. The actual stuff you put IN the cup is extremely negligable in price....usually less than five cents.

If they were serious about not letting people with substance abuse issues buy guns, then they should administer a piss test when buying a gun.

The last background check I got was for employment. They talked to several past employers, made me do a drug test, verified my financials.
