My Irish connection is a girl named "Jan", who works at the little country store up the highway from me. She immigrated here from Ireland several years ago. Her father was a policeman in Ireland, who also served in the Army, and she served in the Army too. Jan is not very fond of globalism, and detests illegal immigration.

She also makes the best sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits you'll ever find. I slather them down with Tabasco sauce and ranch dressing, and wash them down with a Pacific Punch Monster energy drink.
