The US is both, a democracy and republic. Do some research.

It is a Democracy, and has been since they murdered JFK. Because that how the Oligarchy wants it.

Trump is trying to fix what 70 years of Oligarchy erosion of the Republic has done.

There is a cavernous difference between being democratic and being a Democracy.

I don't think that's how I would describe it.

He has taken the country into the sewer, he has enabled and emboldened the worst in us, he has dissolved all standards of behavior, he has destroyed relationships, marriages and families, he has perverted our institutions and put them at significant risk, he has disgraced us on the world stage, and he has numbed us all to lying, deceit, malice, indecency and cruelty.

There is no word or phrase to describe that.

I can sum it up in a very few words. "You are insane!".
