Creating a world where the former president can be called to testify on a whim of Congress is a pretty big step.
That should be reserved for local prosecutors.

Private citizen I believe.
Be interesting if 'someone' would look into allegations of his getting foreign student aid for college......then becoming president. The citizen part is questionable.
Criminal charges,?It's about time for some, no?
Seems if anything is going to happen, it has to soon.

Exactly why he wouldn’t allow the release of any of his college records, perhaps?Be interesting if 'someone' would look into allegations of his getting foreign student aid for college......then becoming president.
That’s not corruption, bug. That’s the right of the Executive Branch. There's so much to choose from in highlighting Bondi's corruption one hardly knows where to begin. Here's something that just happened very recently.

Pam Bondi fires U.S. attorney whom N.J. judges had named to replace Trump ally Alina Habba
Bondi blasted the federal judges as "politically minded" after they named Desiree Leigh Grace to replace Habba.www.nbcnews.com
Trump was not required to testify at his own criminal trials. That should be reserved for local prosecutors.

You’re very ill advised.
Let's put aside that the court had the authority to name Habba's successor. The act by Bondi of making Habba the #2 in the attorney's office, a position that doesn't require Senate confirmation after Habba's temporary term had expired, in order to give her control of the office in the absence of a confirmed nominee for the #1 position, was an act of deceit. A circumvention of the need to have Habba confirmed because trump knew she wouldn't be after her numerous acts of sycophancy to him.that is not corrupt. Do you even comprehend the definition of the word?
The JUDGE acted corruptly and the EXEC moved to protect their domain.

“Trump’s Department of Justice is once again criticizing a court that acted within its authority, continuing a pattern of publicly undermining judicial decisions and showing disregard for the rule of law and the separation of powers," they wrote. “The firing of a career public servant, lawfully appointed by the court, is another blatant attempt to intimidate anyone that doesn’t agree with them and undermine judicial independence."
