Happens all the time. The AMC and Harkins theater chains in Arizona operate only on reserved seating. I haven't been to a movie without reserved seats since I moves to Arizona four years ago.

I don't know what "their place" is supposed to be but if they tried to do that to me, their NEW place would be the meat locker at the local morgue.
