Yep, my mom could stretch a pound of hamburger out to where it amounted to three pounds.....No green peppers though, she used bread crumbs and onions.

Shit Murphy's family must have been rich....Wonder bread? Hell we got our no-name square bread from the day-old store....And calling it day-old was being generous.

The only time I saw a hamburger bun is when dad would work 4-12 and would bring home some burgers from Nicks Good Food Diner.

One thing about Nick's, if you left hungry it was your own damn fault.....it's long gone now but the old building behind it is still there, it's where I get my mower and such worked on.

I stopped eating McDoodoo's back when they had those expose's about them using sawdust, monkey meat, and kangaroo meat as fillers.
