My post was about accuracy in communication and getting rid of the misinformation being disseminated on these boards. And its about the internal consistency of arguments. You can't claim that Israel's borders are the "67 borders" and at the same time claim that Israel's borders are the UNGA Partition Plan. Those are two different things and you can't claim both. (Not to mention that they are both factually incorrect.)

This is an oversimplification and a soundbyte that is routinely used to deny Jewish connection to the land. Factually, very little land was owned privately by anyone, as that is not how the land system worked in the Ottoman Empire. Also, rights to self-determination and sovereignty are not tied to individual land ownership. (Imagine if that were true! We've just solved the issue what to do with the places where Jews live in Area C!)
