Are any of you going to take a Harvard poll seriously?
Unfortunately it’s the opinion of most Ivy League Colleges . Claudine Gay, Harvard’s President can’t even condemn ANTISEMITISM of any kind including Violence

You mean Charleston Heston.

It is a direct quote from God to Abram...so I don't believe any person could claim authorship.

This blessing was passed to Isaac, who passed it on to Jacob/Israel, lest it fall into the hands of Ishmael and his Arab descendants. It quite specifically was intended only for Israel and his descendants, which includes the Jews.

Genesis 27

29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

To understand why this trend is happening, one should give an answer on 'Why the Americans supported Israel' in the first place.

There are three main reasons. The first most important one, let's call it a 'historical justice' one, was because a modern-day Israel was created after the WWII as a Jewish state and a safe place for them, after the atrocities they suffered at the times of the War.

The second one, Israel was considered a natural ally in the region at the times of the Cold War, when the Arab world was mainly under the Soviet influence.

And the third one, 'socio-religious', combines various aspects - islamophobia (that has some reasons too); Christian dogmas (some branches consider defending Israel is a religious duty); Israel being the 'only true democracy in the ME' etc.

Needless to say, as time passes by and generations change, the mindset of the society changes too. There is already a generation of 'adult' people for whom even 9/11 is just a history, not to mention the events of 70 years old past, despite how tragic and once appealing they used to be. And the odds are high that this trend will continue, and not only because of 'generational shift'.
