Well, when I got here, the thread hadn't been used in almost a year, and I had to search several pages of archives just to find one Haiku thread. Haiku is good exercise for those who want to improve vocabulary, language skills, and learning the art of synopsis, of capsulizing a lot of information in a short 5 syllables of 17, not to mention the fun of embracing a non-western civilization by tossing every literary poetic device known to western minds. I'm so pleased to have company here.

wings rise renewing
intrinsic flight to heavens
barnstorming the clouds
