Habits of the "rich", habits of the "poor"

No actually I'm pretty successful. I just see these questions as the joke they are.

One of those two sentences is a lie. A successful person knows what it takes.

.

Those things are what it takes? Getting up 3 hours before work? Sorry I don't waste my whole morning sitting around, I get to work. I don't waste time networking on Facebook either.

.

If people put as much effort into actually doing what it takes to be successful as they do coming up with flimsy excuses as to why they can't, they'd be more successful.

.
How many of us have that one worker around them that expends more energy complaining about the job than the amount of energy it would have taken to just do the job? It never fails. They are also usually the moochers too.

What is is this weird Facebook thing?

You obviously don't know what "networking" means.

Where dies it say they are sitting around doing nothing? The assumptions you make are amazing.

I think maybe you don't know. Spending 5 hours a week on Facebook is networking. That's why this question is so dumb. Who knows what kind of networking is really being done?

Precisely.

You don't know.

Yeah, I call BS on that. Your attitude suggests otherwise.

Most 'Bosses" I know put in 50+ hours a week.

I work more like 70-80 hours a week.
Then you just gave lie to your position. Which is it? They don't come in until noon and sit around all morning doing nothing before going to work, or they put in long hours to be successful. You do claim to be successful, don't you?

Well it doesn't say what they are doing. So it is a dumb question, that is my whole point. I get up and get to work right away. The idea of having 3 hours before work tells me somebody isn't putting in enough hours.

.

I'm told regularly that "the rich" just got lucky and didn't deserve that and stole that from someone and didn't earn that and didn't build that 'n stuff, but to no surprise, they're also just trying harder.

Percentage of people who wake up at least 3 hours before work:
Rich: 44%
Poor: 3%

.

Does that count the rich who are making millions off someone else's work?

Do they wake up 3 hours before those people go to work?

No, but nice try. I would gather that most successful people will put in an hour of that time exercising, some time at breakfast with the family, and the rest of the time organizing their goals for the day. But that would be the sensible thing to do.

.

This is like trying to communicate with a child.

They just don't get it.

.
Which is why I called BS on this persons claim to success. Getting up with just enough time to get off to work is a classic sign of a rank and file workers. I'll bet their idea of networking is posting negative comments to random people on Facebook instead of having informal meetings with colleagues and other people who can do things with ideas in places like a golf course, a racket ball court...things like that.

I work more like 70-80 hours a week.

My position is these questions are a joke.
That is fine. I happen to think that many of the habits described in this informal poll are exactly what successful people do. They maximize their time doing those things that will get them ahead in life.

I understand networking. The question doesn't say what kind of networking. It could be wasting 5 hours on Facebook.

Sure they are. Especially when you add in your amazing assumptions. How many are like the Koch brothers and just inherited it?
