For Democrats there is an easy, obvious target: Trump. However, Democrats had no one individual that served as a mouthpiece for their hatred. Instead, it was a cacophany of thousands of voices from many Democrat politicians, celebrities and MSM talking heads.
This cacophony of voices had the cumulative effect of painting Trump supporters as the enemy and that murder, physical assault and vandalism of their property was okay and even encouraged.
