There is no such thing as an "anchor baby." That's why the parents are subject to deportation. They can take their child with them or leave the child with a guardian or family member who is here legally. Happens all the time.

Correct. Both Admiral Rockwell Tory and Unkotare insist that because the mother can still legally be deported, there is no anchor. They ignore all the other factors that have gone into that with the most important being the natural compassion of Americans who can be reluctant to deport a mother who leaves her child behind. And they ignore the differing policies of various administrations and some quirks in the existing law that complicates matters.

Neither apparently read all those links I and others have furnished. Of course the 'woke' influence on the internet, mostly guided by Google and such, fueled by the leftist intent of open borders, now often makes the term 'anchor baby' an offensive or deprecatory term which it originally was not. On line dictionaries have been strongly pressured to include that in their definitions. But the term has been used for decades now to describe that particular phenomenon.

I get a little loose, crazy and frustrated on the small phone reading thru UNK stuff about
"no such thing as Anchor baby over and over" or "Illegals don't get benefits" as EBT cards are handed out.

I see hundreds of posts with F-you in them or worse all day every day. I get sloppy as I wade thru it.

Now I am calm with keyboard/Big screen on the PC....but it won't last. I need to move off here soon.
