You're arguing the Law of the Jungle makes it necessary for the US to continue its long-standing policy of meddling in the affairs of foreign governments?First and foremost however Greenland is strategically located for the geopolitical upheaval going forward. They will not remain independent no matter what their hopes or dreams are. They are right in the middle of the next round of territorial disputes and have absolutely no way of becoming any kind of noticeable presence in the face of that event.
There is only one major political predator on this planet and it's not Russia or China.
Greenland's future is for its citizens to decide; whatever colonial AI aspirations greedy Americans may hold:
