Greenland cannot remain independent.. Even what they have now is only an illusion of independence. That doesn't mean they have to submit to tyranny but it does mean they have to make a choice and they need to make one soon.
Without anyway to defend either their waterways or their acreage Greenland's claim to independence is nothing but a fairytale.

Going forward They will not be able sustain any kind of workable economy, provide any real security or even make decisions about the development of their land. Trump is right... in this condition Greenland presents a security threat to North America.

USA need the rare earth metals of Greenland
USA is going to get them, military actions is not excluded. Economic actions already in place.

In order to get domestic acceptance it’s spun as an act of defence. Now you need to do it before China or Russia does it.

Greenland is around a third the size of the continental USA, yet only has around 50,000 people living there. Twice as many people live in the US Virgin Islands.

Greenland only has a quasi-independence. If they don't take up with the USA, someone, maybe China or Russia will be knocking on their door.

Trump never said we would use military action to take it from Denmark, you socialist moron!
