I did follow the citation ... and yeah, the satellite isn't designed to measure surface temperature ... from what I understand, actual thermometers in Greenland are consistent with the global network ... 1ºC warmer than the 20th Century average ...

Scientific groups are required to push the AGW doctrine or they won't get woke and government grant funding. That means no scientist who is skeptical of AGW is welcome in those groups and all have pretty much now been forced out.
