Maybe in another 50 years when that technology becomes available at a reasonable cost.
That technology will be available much sooner than that.
Why aren't you the greatest advocate of nuclear power on the planet?
I have advocated for nuclear power since the early 60s.
EVs pollute the earth more than ICE cars.
No, they do not.
Have you solved that problem yet?
The pollution they do cause is being reduced as we speak. More non-emitting power online and batteries at lower costs with less and less rare earth minerals, dramatically faster charge times and greater and greater capacity.

You tell me. They lasted over 125 years there until Jan of 2024.
I am really surprised, you taking an interest in a January post of mine. It must bother you a lot, or you are really bored. Here is the story from back in January.

Has Guam tipped over?

Status of Liberty under water?

Where has the sea level risen?

Did Obama lower it?

When all that comes true, we will be fine, right? I'll wait.

Has Guam tipped over? You must be a Trump voter.

Montauk NY was an island for a brief time in 1938. Climate change?

I can see this subject really bothers you in some way. Do you have some background in climate, analyzing data from around the globe or is it just a political thing? It does not bother me, one way or the other. I cannot change it, true or false, and of course, I do not live in a coastal city like Miami or New Orleans. Is someone asking or even pressuring you to do something about it? I have not been approached.

What bothers me is a Cult passing off a wealth distribution scam as "Science"

Moreso that Americans are so intimidated and uneducated that all you need to do is say "climate change" three times a day and people will think you're telling a truth

And now we see that is comes with a $3 Trillion annual price tag

I was not thrilled with the price tag for the last round of tax breaks for those that did not need it. One thing, I have learned, is there is no end to the wastes of government. That is any government, by right or left, in any country, on any part of the planet. Does it bother me, the investment in alternative energy, lowering carbon emissions (that lower smog and air pollution) or Florida spending more to avoid the increasing occasional flooding of Miami? Not really. I suspect these things bother you a great deal. Does it bother you, the change from coal fired power plants, in favor of natural gas? Not me, though I would prefer more construction of Nuclear power plants.

Then what is? And why WOULDN't a 50% increase in the second most powerful greenhouse gas warm the planet?

Because we caused it and know precisely how, we can slow it down, we can stop it and we can reverse it. You might have benefitted from a class in basic logic. Really basic.

We need to bring the combustion of fossil fuels to a halt.

Okay

And make the best of it? That sort of pusillanimous fatalism is not what this country likes to think it's known for and its certainly not what's needed in the face of a universal threat.

Because we will simultaneously lose the ability to grow wheat at the southern end of its range, where it and it's infrastructure have been growing for centuries. It may well take centuries for those ice caps to disappear and the soil under it is bedrock scraped clean by thousands of years of glacial movement. In the intervening time, we will need to relocate hundreds of millions of people due to rising seas, crops of all sort will be failing due to climate change and humans will be suffering an increase in intolerable heat waves.

It is not the entire Atlantic, but only the equatorial Atlantic, which has cooled earlier, but not more, than it has since 1982. Other parts of the Atlantic still remain at extraordinarily high temperatures.

No, "all the so-called scientists" did not. The biggest name pushing that line was Paul Ehrlich, an ecologist who didn't know jack shit about atmospheric physics or paleoclimatology and was doing quite well for himself selling alarmist books.

I get my information from scientists. Gore is not a scientist. Feel free to argue with whatever Gore has said, but all it tells me is that you're unable to argue against the actual science.
your indoctrination is complete. you are incapable of dealing with reality, I am not going to waste any more time with a fool like you.

one of your dem climate idiots said it was going to tip over, did it?
Haven't got a climate expert on me. To tell the truth, I didn't know I had any. Did he go down with the island?:auiqs.jpg:

Since you are such a "true believer" perhaps you can answer simple basic climate questions for us...

1. Why does one Earth polar circle have 9+ times the ice of the other?
2. Why is there ice age glacier south of Arctic Circle on Greenland but no such ice age glacier north of Arctic Circle on Alaska?
3. If the oceans are "warming" why is the record decade for canes still the 1940s?
4. If the oceans are "rising" why can't we see one single photo of land sinking?
5. How did Co2 thaw North America and freeze Greenland at the same time?

I do not have a science background in climate study. Never said, I did, or claimed to be a true believer supporting or opposing. You will have to go find a fence post to argue with.

one of your dem climate idiots said it was going to tip over, did it?
Hank Johnson, D, Ga. Said he was afraid that Guam would get so overpopulated it would tip over. It was quite obviously a joke.
