Denmark's Shame: Starving Polar Bears in Greenland (DISTURBING IMAGES)

I actually attended a course on polar bears at a zoo. Your entire plan, if one would call it that, would be doomed to failure. Seals provided as food for bears would just swim away and escape. Polar bears do not hunt seals on land for that reason. On the ice, they have nowhere to go. What is missing is the sea ice. You do know that polar bears can swim, right?

Okay so we build some floating things to replicate the melting ice polar bears use to catch seals.

Go right ahead and pay for it with the mineral right we are going to steal from Greenland. That way the polar the polar bears will have plenty of miners and oil workers to feast upon when the seals stay away from the floats because they are not natural. :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

I swear you are incapable of reading the English language. Your AI overview even told you the answer as to why your idea is bullshit of the highest order. A lack of seals is not the problem. It is a lack of ice from which they hunt. The seals are still there. The polar bears cannot get to them. Substituting sea lions will accomplish nothing! The polar bears will not be able to get to them anyway!

Why don't we ship in huge ice making machines to give the bears something to hunt from?

Yes, I attended a class on polar bears, which were separated from the classroom by a glass window, a very thick glass window by the way. The bears were three feet away. It was part of that continuing education that most people do not realize teachers have to do to maintain their jobs and certifications.

I have two questions for you to answer without Google or AI:
1) What color is a polar bears hair?
2) What color is a polar bears skin?
1. yellow?
2 black?

AI Overview

Yes, some seal populations in Greenland, especially
Hooded Seals, are shrinking and facing increased threats, largely due to climate change impacting sea ice, though Harp Seals in the larger North Atlantic region have shown relative stability or growth, but face future risks, highlighting varied trends by species and region. The IUCN Red List recently elevated the status of Hooded Seals to Endangered and Bearded Seals to Near Threatened, primarily due to sea ice loss.

Fewer seals = less food for polar bears. Maybe the imported seals won't reproduce enough to establish viable populations, but they can still be eaten.

Animals can migrate successfully. They are not like coconuts. Horses were brought to America from Europe and they thrived, even in the wild. Nobody told them they couldn't not live and that "it's not nice to fool Mother Nature."

Because they need the seals, not the ice.

It says there are fewer seals because of less sea ice. Can you ******* read? Bring back the sea ice and the seals will return.
Oh my God! Your school district let you count that as CE? My district would laugh me out of the room if I told them I saw polar bears at the zoo - only three feet away! - so I should get six CE hours.
We expect our teachers to be well rounded. I was the only one who answered an unrelated biology question in my principals' training session. The instructor asked if I was a biology teacher and I answered that I taught math and social studies. There were 7 biology teachers in the room that did not know that elephants pushing trees over in a national park in Africa was normal behavior and nothing should be done by park rangers to stop them from doing so.

It doesn't matter, but I'll answer off the top of my head that I think I read somewhere that their hair is actually clear and their skin is black?

If I'm wrong, you can laugh and paw at your pits, I guess.
Congratulations! You actually got that one right. Now if their hair is clear, why does it appear white?

In Greenland specifically, there are only a few thousand polar bears. There are hundreds of thousands of sea lions - a type of seal - off the coast of California. Gather several thousand and take them to Greenland for resettlement on the coast and some for immediate feeding to the starving polar bears.

Sea Lions feed on ocean fish near the shore and their primary predators are sharks and whales. They would not expect the polar bears so they would be good prey for them.

Maybe there are reasons why that will not work. Fine, try something else. Point is that I don't think Denmark is trying. I think Europeans will not mitigate any disaster that they can blame on the the fact that the climate changes to support the hoax.

Seeing how Denmark treated the Inuit of Greenland, this treatment of polar bears comes as no suprise.

Do you have any substantial evidence Polar bears are actually starving from lack of food?

In some of these stories I've read, claim that these "starving" bears are either old, injured, or suffering from an illness.

First, I have to apologize to Flopper. He mentioned the thousands of starving polar bears in Greenland and I was very dismissive of the idea.

Then I researched it.

Yes, polar bears in Greenland and across the Arctic are facing increased starvation risks due to melting sea ice, a direct result of climate change, forcing them onto land for longer periods without their primary seal-hunting platform, causing rapid weight loss and pushing them to forage less nutritious food, threatening their survival. Studies show bears losing significant weight, with young bears being particularly vulnerable, highlighting a growing crisis for the iconic species.

Good GAWD, Y'all!

How can Denmark let this happen? Maybe they see no profit to made in saving these beautiful animals from starvation?

At least they could put them to sleep painlessly unstead of letting them waste away in sub-zero weather.

Time for the last vestige of European Colonialism to at long last be gone from the American Continents.
That's it.We got to save the polar bears, right

Launch the landing ships

Seriously, sad to see this happen, just this this does nothing to prove climate change or man causing it, as it fails to prove bears didn't always starve.

It could very well be that as bears get older, they cannot hunt then stave like this. These may simply be some on the ones on the way out as many new species come in.

Other evidence suggests sea ice fluctuates from decade to decade--- look how many droughts people suffered where bountiful farmland turned to a dust bowl and starved, long before any climate change. Then there was the mini-Ice age of the Middle Ages.

Fact is that 99% of all species to have ever lived are dead now. Species who cannot adapt to the ever-changing Earth are always dying off as other species better adapted prosper.

With the demise of the polar bear will likely come a bounty of seal and other polar wildlife now no longer being hunted as much.

This is an old BS claim by climate fanatics. The Polar bear population is increasing. They eat fish and they are plentiful.

That is very possible, of course.

I don't put it past the left to use one hoax, starving polar bears, to support another hoax, Global Warming/Crimate Change/WHatever the latest.

The pictures are the evidence that I have seen. Clearly, those bears are in distress and seem to be very low weight to the point that they would have difficulty hunting even in a prey-rich environment so the spiral to death becomes inevitible.

This thread was primarily aimed at those lefties hysterical over Trump wanting the U.S. to have more influence over Greenland, rather than it being the last outpost of Euro colonialism. I wanted to see of they would insist on blaming Trump for the starving bears.

Unfortunately, the only hardcore leftie willing to debate is the Admiral and he is stuck on a field trip he chaparoned in which he saw a slideshow about polar bears.

This is not widely known.
Or did you know?
I've known that for a while.

Mind you, the U.S. has its own history of shameful treatement of native people's. Not trying to play holier country than thine. But Denmark is not this benevolent country ruling over the people of Greenland for the benefit of the Greenlanders, and never has been.

It is a point of pride for Trump to obtain Greenland for the U.S., it being on North America, and it is a point of pride for Denmark to be the remaining European power holding territory in North America.

The solution is full independence for Greenland, which the U.S. would have selfish reasons to help to succeed. Denmark would not be precluded from helping Greenland succeed either, other than by their own wounded ego.
