They didn't stop them the audit was completed...the courts blocked Gore from starting another recount in Blue districts only and the courts said you can't do that....nice try on rewriting history....You mean the ones that the courts stopped?OMG have you forgotten the Florida chad audits?

The remedy to the violation of equal protection was to order a statewide audit with one standard, but that didn't happen either. There were 2 justices that wanted to hear the stupid Texas case, not because it had any merit, but because they firmly believe that ALL cases from such jurisdiction are to be heard. 7 justices disagreed. You couldn't even get a majority of conservative justices to go along with it and ZERO of Trump's judges were going to do so. The deep state didn't shut it down, Trump's hand picked justices did.

The Florida recount was an official recount before certification of the election results undertaken by the county's election office, not an unofficial recount by a private partisan organization with zero experience in audits and pushing unsubstantiated bizarre conspiracy theories, which is what is happening in Arizona. And unlike Florida, in Arizona, there have already been two audits, no material discrepancies were found, and the state certified the election.
And yes, it was stopped by the SCOTUS
