Gov. Andrew Cuomo — whose controversial directive for nursing homes to accept COVID-19 patients has been tied to as many as 1,000-plus deaths — sold the rights to his best-selling pandemic memoir for $5.12 million, according to tax returns he made public on Monday.
State Attorney General Letitia James — in addition to the investigation probing multiple allegations of sexual harassment by current and former aides to the governor — is separately investigating claims that Cuomo used staff and state resources to help write the book last summer.
Evidently killing people and lying pays pretty well.
