Sounds like an appropriate currency for them 🇷🇺🐷

lol some loons on this board are making Big Scary Snivels about BRICS, a collection of failed states and one large one on the verge of failing.

I wonder, are the lines at the supermarkets for toilet paper as long as the lines at the banks? Converting rubles to toilet paper might be a wise investment move for the average Russian. :eusa_think:

Plus they know the toilet paper hasn't been pre-flushed...

So we should wipe our asses with rubles to save money? How soft are they?
I’d rather have toilet paper than the ruble so that tracks. At this rate, a sheet of toilet paper will worth more than a ruble. It is already more than half way there.

Its at 80 and on a continued steep decline for the past 3 months.
But the price of whopper in Burger King (Moscow) is still the same - 199 rub. ($2.5).

Who cares about exchange rate?
Decreasing the price of ruble is a form of protectionism - Russian government shield their industrial production from cheaper import.

A roll of toilet paper is literally worth more than a US Dollar. Was there a point you were attempting to make.

Because population is such that no country is an island. Russia can't grow enough beef to feed its population. International trade is a must. Secondly...these prices were pre-sanctions. Burger King is not in Russia anymore.

How many currencies did Russia go through (because they failed) before the current one? (Hint:3)
