Comes just before the US Supreme Court Hearing on gay marriage. Since this is the uber-sympathy ploy, we really need to look at who "Matt McLaughin" is and who is behind "him" filing this absurd act:

It calls for death to sodomites lest the whole world be ruined by God's hand a la Sodom.

It is ridiculous, and a transparent final sympathy ploy. I guess gay-teen suicide isn't vogue anymore. Now the moles have to resort to "death by firing squad" to get a kneejerk and blind reaction to get their agenda through.

Long story short, no grand theatre should blind the frank and open discussion of whether or not fatherless sons and motherless daughters should be institutionalized by force by the federal government without the consent of the governed.

Except that AG Harris simply nullified the CA initiative law describing marriage and refused to clarify that illegal act (the law is still in the Constitution there) to the county clerks of CA when they petitioned her to.

To get technical, the proposed statute seeks to amend the death penalty in the state of California, in addition to suppressing the circulation of pro-homosexual propaganda to minors.

Since these are two different issues completely, the AG and Legislature have the means to reject this proposal.

Saying they have their hands tied does allow a media circus around this convenient fellow Matt McLaughlin, who seems to pop up whenever the lavendar mafia needs a "Christian horror" episode to writhe and cower at. Very reminiscent of the far left drumming up unrest surrounding the Missouri shooting of the black youth. What this could actually do is inspire real mental patients like the guy who shot Gabby Giffords to come out and begin attacking or even killing gays.

I smell a certain vocal pro-gay activist very well known media character behind this. Isn't she from this state? Man, I hope I'm wrong.. Because if that was the case, it would mean she made a calculated plan to potentially shed blood in the name of getting gay marriage passed; blood of those who she calls her fellows. *shudder*....no...it couldn't be?...

This modest proposal for interpretation of the author’s motives is somewhat diminished by the initiative author’s previous failed initiative to use the Bible as a public schools instructional text....

On March 25, the Attorney General, a US Senate candidate, took the unusual step of seeking a declaration from the Sacramento Superior Court that the initiative is “patently unconstitutional on its face”; that any preparation and official issuance of a circulating title and summary “would be inappropriate, waste public resources, generate unnecessary divisions among the public, and tend to mislead the electorate”; and that she is “relieved of any obligation to issue a title and summary” as required by the state Constitution.

The issues are all intertwined... This bill serves both purposes. First it focuses the idiocy of social Democracy wherein anyone can get 360,000 of 38 million people out of to sign a petition for anything, further providing the ethereal appearance that Homosexuals are being targeted for death. Recall that this was the same ruse that provided for their 'being accepted'.... . In truth, they were never at risk, accept where they made a nuisance of themselves and got their ass beat, sometimes badly.

At the end of the day, the same mental disorder that induces cravings for sexual gratification with a member of one's own gender, is the same one that induces someone to put unbridled idiocy up on a public initiative.
