You can prosecute someone over anything. There will be no conviction but Kelly and the Democrats will be exposed in the court of public opinion for trying to undermine the Commander in Chief and chain of command.Right, they simply re-stated the obvious. You can't prosecute someone over that.
Who is “they”? Characters in your nightly dreams about Trump?View attachment 1217699
They say a grand jury will “indict a ham sandwich,” but Trump still couldn’t get one to bite on indicting six Democrats over a 90-second video reminding troops they must refuse unlawful orders. Prosecutors under loser U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro took the shot anyway…and the grand jury flatly declined, making this look like political intimidation dressed up as “law and order.”

Good! This would be unheard of in any other administration.
The DOJ only goes to the grand jury when they have an ironclad case.
Until now.

Grand jury declines criminal charges against 6 Democrats who urged military to reject illegal orders
A federal grand jury refused to indict six Democrats who drew President Trump's ire by taping a video telling members of the military that they must reject "illegal orders," three sources told CBS News.www.cbsnews.com
How often and why must armed forces be reminded this; in particular, by several members of the out of power political party? What was the catalyst to do so?How would reminding servicemen of their oath undermine anyone?

This was purely political. The Democrats wanted to get Troops questioning orders.
For what the democrat politicians said?Maybe so but you can't prosecute someone over it.
New DOJ rule. You only go after an indictment if the Felon says you can. They go against DOJ policy, which is to only seek an indictment if they have enough evidence (beyond a reasonable doubt) to convince a jury.
Oops, looks like you're a criminal now.troops know they are supposed to ignore illegal orders.
Ironclad case? Have you never heard the wise old saying "A prosecutor could indict a ham sandwich"?This would be unheard of in any other administration.

Yep.Ironclad case?
Be serious. How would reminding servicemen of their oath undermine anyone?
You dont seem to understand how this works.Be serious.
I'm very much aware of that, and there are several reasons for it. The US criminal justice system has been corrupt for many decades. Sure, there must be a few good men, but most are like Patel and Bongino and Bondi. It's been bipartisan forever.Yep.
Go look up federal prosecution success rate. High 90s.
Then compare it to the drunken TV host's success rate.
For what the democrat politicians said?
Maybe not, but if any service member follows their advice and goes to prison it what them dems said to them wont be forgotten
Not least of which being they generally dont pursue cases that aren't solid.I'm very much aware of that, and there are several reasons for it.
