Unlike the Dems in 2008, who swept the House, Senate, and Presidency, the GOP will not gain the Senate.

THANK YOU TEA PARTY!

If by chance the Republicans don't win the majority in the senate, they will pick up enough seats to stop Obama's social agendas from ever passing.

Guess we will just have to wait and see about that now wont we?

We likely won't know who won the Senate for a few weeks, but right it's looking like a long shot for the GOP to take it. There's a few missed opportunities already tonight the GOP needed.

I didn't expect them to pick up the Senate tonight.
It wasn't that big of a jump as far as the numbers were for the dems to pick up the senate in 2008. just sayin...

Welcome to the "No shit?" club. I'm sure you're one of those geniuses that got all excited about O'Donnell's loss, like it was any ******* surprise.

Any other major surprises we should look forward to tonight? Why don't you go ahead and call the state of Oregon for Gillibrand? I'm sure NO ONE was predicting that one.

They already had that secured. Now we get a guarantee of gridlock for two years.

Will the GOP try to shut down the government now?

Man you need a lesson.
They will take the house, and the Dems will just scratch by in keeping the senate.
Obama has lost his agenda.
Thank God

Better than Obama's social agenda going forward.

Which is exactly the way it should be.

Yeah, screw working together to find solutions to the serious problems.. We should have gridlock.. Yeah baby!!!!!!

Democrats keep the Senate, lose the house. I predicted it days ago.

You and all the political pundits asswipe. just like a DUmmie to pretend he's smart.:lol::lol::lol:

I'm so frickin glad Ron Paul kicked ass.

I never thought that they would win the majority. I predicted about 7 pickups for the R's. Stops the dem super majority and that's what matters.

That only works when both sides are trying to fix the problems rather than create them to blame the other guys.

We don't want to work with you lefty... we want to defeat you.

You and those like you are bad for this country.

You may end up eating those words....if Boxer loses.
Long odds, WV is a huge setback, but PA, IL, NV, WA, WI, CO, CA path is still possible.

So you advocate 2 years of nothing but gridlock? Yeah, that'll lower unemploment.

The policies of this current administration and Congress haven't proven to do it, might as well try something else. If "something else" means "nothing" and "nothing" means "not spending taxpayer's dollars on failed policies," I'm all in.
