So translated what you are saying is you care about Hawaii State law, but not so much about the Federal Law that requires you be a natural Born Citizen to be president.

I still give Obama the Benefit of the Doubt on this issue. But more and more I have to wonder, Where is the long form birth Certificate.

The COLB is an official document. It's what you get when you request a BC in HI. It proves that Obama was born in HI and that he fits the definition of a natural born citizen. Try again.

Donald Trump simply expressed some skepticism given that Obama 1) hasn't released his actual birth certificate, but 2) still continues to be tormented by this awful, awful rumor (note the sarcasm). It's not like he's calling for Obama's impeachment because he knows for a fact that he isn't a citizen. He's not Orly Taitz. Polls this early mean nothing, neither to me nor to you.

There's no such thing as a "birfer law". Several states are attempting to pass laws that require people who run for office to verify their citizenship. There are similar guidelines in the Constitution, but I know that whenever people decide to take the Constitution seriously liberals get scared and paranoid.

But yes, it's the Left that's keeping the issue going in the media. Of course progressive politicians aren't going to do much about it, because the point isn't that birthers are so numerous and influential that they might reek havoc and push Obama out of the White House. It's just a convenient bit of controversy liberals can bring up from time to time to remind everybody how racist and intolerant the right-wing is supposed to be. It will never come to that. As I've stated from the beginning, if there is a cover up, we'll never know about it so it's pointless to continue harping on it. Can you imagine the damage that would be done to this country if Obama was not a natural born citizen? The US is weaker now than it has been in decades. We don't need another scandal. Just let Obama bow-out gracefully and let Hillary run. Problem solved.
