Given the sensitive nature of his activities, that list could be used to prosecute him.

He invited hundreds of movers and shakers to his island and mansion(s), providing licit and illicit pleasures to his guest/clients, and making videotapes of all of it. Then he would use the existence of those tapes to induce the aforesaid persons to give him money to invest - hence his claim of being an investment advisor. This is how he was able to amass a half-billion dollar fortune for basically nothing.

The Trump Whitehouse has been hit with a barrage of calls from INNOCENT movers and shakers who were invited to Epstein's events but declined to participate. THOSE PEOPLE are rightly terrified that if such a list were to go public, they would be slandered enormously, with no chance to fight or rehabilitate their reputations.
