Each time it spins around it excites electronics inside the copper wiring windings that cause electrons to leap off atoms onto the next atom and so on causing a flow of electrons through 3 phases. Which is why it's called ac, meaning alternating current as it alternates up and down between each spin. Then the electrons go into a step up transformer, go down power lines to their destination where a step down transformer decreases the current the the voltage required for that particular place with 120 and 277 being the most common.
