GOP Evangelicals

Some concern about the rule of law being enforced properly under a fundamentalist executive. To get the nomination all GOP candidates need the CC's vote; once nominated the candidate will move to the middle and adopt a compassionate rhetoric. What they do if elected is the great concern.

We've already moved toward an obigarchy of the rich, I have a good deal of concern we might further devolve into a theocratic plutocracy under a Bachmann, Perry or Santorum administration.

Our country is in serious trouble if we get another CC as President. Bachmann, Perry or Santorum would be a disaster.

Cain, possibly too.

Saw Cain on "Meet The Press" this AM. He is a real piece of work. Either he is too stupid to understand the job of a POTUS or he does not care to articulate on the complexity of the office. He thinks he is running for "King Of America". His 9-9-9 plan is stupid and he rejects out of hand all criticism of his childish plan. His stand on life at conception and abortion is stark and unacceptable to the vast majority of Americans.

Cain's "my way or the hyway" attitude will find him on the hyway. He thinks he is just going to become president and DICTATE what the tax mechanism and numerous other programs will be. He is an idiot as are those that would want to waste(or worse) four years with him as POTUS.

His candidacy says more about the desperation of his hopeful citizen supporters and the manipulation of his corporate sponsors than anything useful to the vast majority of the American population.

In short he is Sarah Palin in the body of a black man. He is dangerously willfully ignorant.

You have preconceptions about Cain you can't seem to drop or you have saw-dust in your ears because I didn't hear that. You must have been paying attention to something else, your fantasy league or something, because obviously you didn't listen.

Being intelligent and using common-sense seems to be a problem with you. Cain obviously has both. However he needs to explain his program in more detail and until he does people will lie about it till it becomes a thing of ridicule.

"Christians have an obligation, a mandate, a commission, a holy responsibility to reclaim the land for Jesus Christ — to have dominion in civil structures, just as in every other aspect of life and godliness. But it is dominion we are after. Not just a voice. It is dominion we are after. Not just influence. It is dominion we are after. Not just equal time. It is dominion we are after. World conquest. That’s what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish. We must win the world with the power of the Gospel. And we must never settle for anything less…Thus, Christian politics has as its primary intent the conquest of the land — of men, families, institutions, bureaucracies, courts, and governments for the Kingdom of Christ.” From The Changing of the Guard: Biblical Principles for Political Action by George Grant, published in 1987 by Dominion Press

Gary North says:

“So let us be blunt about it: We must use the doctrine of religious liberty to gain independence for Christian schools until we train up a generation of people who know that there is no religious neutrality, no neutral law, no neutral education, and no neutral civil government. Then they will be get busy in constructing a Bible-based social, political and religious order which finally denies the religious liberty of the enemies of God.”

The Bible mandates free market capitalism. It is anti-socialist. The proof is here: 10,000 pages of exposition, verse by verse. Free.

Sounds like a pep-talk before a Football game. "1-2-3 DOMINATE!!!!

Excuse me but no pastor or religious figure speaks for every Christian.

Only Jesus and what he taught does that.

I don't remember Jesus ever saying something about domination.

This doctrine called "Strategic Level Spiritual Warfare" (SLSVV) is a popular charismatic method of casting out demons from geographical locations or territories. It identifies three levels of demonic control on earth. Firstly, are "Ground-Level" demons, which possess people. Secondly, "Occult-Level" demons empower witches, shamans, magicians. Finally, "Strategic-Level" demons which are the most powerful of the three, are said to rule over certain regions or territories. Their main purpose is to hinder people from coming to Christ.

Not all Christians are dominionists, but all dominionists claim Christianity. These folks seem themselves as warriors engaged in a battle to win the United States. Their literature has a cross over the White House and they are "casting out demons" in Washington DC.

C Peter Wagner was recently interviewed by Terry Gross on NPR.

He downplayed some of this his prior rhetoric. He didn't say this, which he said in 2008:

Wagner in 2008, when speaking at a NAR conference:

“Dominion has to do with control. Dominion has to do with rulership. Dominion has to do with authority and subduing and it relates to society. In other words, what the values are in Heaven need to be made manifest here on earth. Dominion means being the head and not the tail. Dominion means ruling as kings. It says in Revelation Chapter 1:6 that He has made us kings and priests – and check the rest of that verse; it says for dominion. So we are kings for dominion.”

Nope.....you're forgetting about the worst of them all....Islamic-fundamentalists.

I bet they're cool in your book.

Truth is only those on the fringe feel the way you're thinking and thankfully they are few and far between....but when it comes to Muslims forced conversion to Islam is taught on every level. It is the primary reason for genocide in Sudan, Indonesia, Bosnia, conflict in Egypt today, and in Iraq.

It is much more mainstream. You can count them in the millions.....many of which would drag you through the streets and string your ass up in front of City Hall for being a Christian or Gay....it doesn't matter to them.

"There is a spirit called a Harlot, a principality, who dominates nations, who dominates territories, who dominates people groups very, very clearly to such an extent that she has fornication with kings. And I can give you an example of how she does this: Japan, as a nation, is one of the nation's of the world which has consciously, openly invited national demonization.

The Sun Goddess visits him in person and has sexual intercourse with the Emperor. It's a very, very powerful thing. So the Emperor becomes one flesh with the Sun Goddess and that's an invitation for the Sun Goddess to continue to demonize the whole nation.

Since the night that the present emperor slept with the Sun Goddess, the stock market in Japan has gone down. It's never come up since."

I'm sure if you look long enough you can always find a quote from some over-zealous Bible-Banger that you can use to prove your point.....but then if you listen to the teachings of Jesus you'll discover that they are exactly what he talked about and told us to be wary of.

You know......false prophets.

Muslims in America have ZERO power. Dominionists in America has a TON.

He also said on the Sermon on the Mount that we would be blessed when folks like you persecute us for believing him.

So the more you rag on Christians the more blessed they are.

Doesn't say much for you though.

In the Biblical Blueprint Series George Grant argues that no charity should be available to anyone not under the protection of the Biblical Covenant; charity is the responsibility of families and churches so any other version of it is tyrannical.

In another example, Ray Sutton writes about ending public education (also considered tyranny) in his book in the same Biblical Blueprint Series:

if you run for the public school board, do it with one intention only: to create an orderly transition to exclusively private education. If you can't be elected on this platform (as seems likely), then become the candidate who wants to reduce waste. (The Biblical definition of wasteful public schools: "public schools.")

Bearing false witness is also a sin.

Muslims are one of the greatest threats in America outside of Communists.

I am a great fan of God and Jesus. Dominionists are not. It is the Dominionists who seek to persecute non-christians.

I'm sorry that you think you must defend this group. They are not ordinary Christians.

I am taking God and Jesus back from those who distort the message.

George Grant and Ray Sutton can both jump off a cliff.

They probably molested the neighbor's Rottweiler when they were kids.
