Good article on the cycles on the Earth's fairly regular warming and cooling cycles and why they occur.

The author sticks to science and posts references to studies on "modern climate science". Here is an excerpt for those not inclined to read the article:

" For example, as Earth was emerging out of the last glacial cycle, the warming trend was interrupted 12,800 years ago when temperatures dropped dramatically in only several decades. A mere 1,300 years later, temperatures locally spiked as much as 20°F (11°C) within just several years. Sudden changes like this occurred at least 24 times during the past 100,000 years. In a relative sense, we are in a time of unusually stable temperatures today—how long will it last?"

—how long will it last?

The irony Mike is, not too much longer. We are nearing the end of the current inter-glacial and it is anyone's guess when the next great cooling could begin. It could be within the next few hundred years, next few thousand, or next few decades, we don't know, but time will be coming we will be begging for global warming!

Wouldn't it be ironic if the democrats end up facilitating the next ice age doing the exact opposite needed just at the time when technology (and ICE cars, factories, etc.) might have forestalled it?

I have personally witnessed literal climate change for over 50 years now.
At the beginning of the year, the temp drops & everything turns brown here. Might even snow.
Soon after, it warms up again & things start getting green.
Then it starts to get so hot you don't want to be outside for long but the plants are going crazy.
Next thing you know, it's getting cooler & things aren't growing anymore but football season starts.

Then it starts all over again, 4x's a year, every year.

It's the scariest thing you ever seen, I'm constantly pooping myself

The earth has warmed and cooled along with sun for billions of years. Don't be a fool.

Clearly he’s describing that past civilizations had internal combustion engines (rapid uptick) and CO2 destroying all life on Earth (plunge in temps)
