Gone are pre-existing conditions if you vote for trump, and I know some trumpers are counting on the ACA

All Social Corporation must meet minimum standards.
Why? Who says? And what the fuck is "All Social Corporation"?

It's more Socialism where everyone absorbs the cost for each of us.
No, that's what Democrats are trying to turn it into with legal mandates. Which is why the health insurance market is so fucked up.

It MUST meet certain minimum standards. If it doesn't then it can't be allowed to exist.
Why? Who says? Just because some "we-know-better" bullies want to force their views on others???

But tell you what, I have some insurance you may be interested in. How about Elephant Stampeded Insurance for Yosimite and Hurricane Insurance for Kansas. Now, that's not regulated. Stupid but not regulated. Right down your alley.
No, sorry. That doesn't sound like anything I'd be willing to pay for. But I suppose you can pass a law forcing me to buy it, if you're really hard up and have good lobbyists.
Then you don't need any insurance at all.
Let me spell it out for you: what I need is none of your business. It's my call, not yours. Not the government's. Got it?
you mean like the right for a female to choose an abortion if she wants/needs one?
Huh? What does that have to do with the discussion?

all the protections, such as the preventatives are covered 100% regardless of what plan you have.
Those aren't "protections". They're regulations forcing coverage that many consumers don't want.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they just made individual policies akin to group policies. everybody has the same coverage.
Why should everyone be forced to have the same coverage? Why not let people decide for themselves how to manage their health care? Do we really need government dictating this?
the same BASIC coverage. then one can purchase more if they wish. that same BASIC coverage equates to lower premiums, copays etc, taxes for everyone if illness' are caught early & cured/managed b4 they get outa control & uninsured/under insured, sicker people take up hospital beds or need more complex disease management that YOU ultimately end up paying for because bighealthcorp wants a fat bottom line in favor of their CEO & board of directors.

duh.
Why should everyone be forced to have the same BASIC coverage? Why not let people decide for themselves how to manage their health care? Do we really need government dictating this?
because if you end up penniless having to exhaust all your savings & become homeless due to foreclosure because of extreme medical bills because of non coverage that might have prevented it .... then society AS A WHOLE ends up paying for your existence.

sometimes, thinking beyond your own selfish immediate needs actually benefits YOU in the long run.

duh duh DUH.

There are different levels of plans. Bronze Plans are most exp. as far as deductibles and OOP max, those who get a Bronze Plan either are young and heathy, got money, or don't have money as they are the cheapest plans but they cover all existing PECS.
Bronze plans were the cheapest, high deductibles, around $1800 per person plus a $20 co-pay. You had to pay a monthly premium and had never got to the deductible and so you paid $9000 before the policy covered anything and then it was only 80%. Not sure how many people can afford to pay $9000 of insurance without it covering anything. My catastrophic was half that.
all the protections, such as the preventatives are covered 100% regardless of what plan you have. as for the deductibles... yep they are high, but the monthly premiums are subsidized.
My premium was not subsidized, the 100% of pre-existings didn't matter, all my visits were out of pocket because I never met my deductible. $9000 a year and I was previously paying around $3500 a year for catastrophic. I still never saw how the ACA helped people, if you couldn't afford the premium, how could you afford the deductibles?
if you have a policy & stay in network, you tend to pay less than straight out cash & what you pay does go to the deductible. i assume you were fairly healthy with nochronic issues like diabetes or HBP?
I stay in policy and stay in network, the deductible is $1800, the premium over $600 a month. I go to the doc maybe twice a year. The wellness check for some reason I keep paying for, I thought that was covered but I have been told no. I used to pay $3500 a year before the ACA and I thought that was spendy.
if you discuss anything outside the realm of a 'physical' then it's considered a seperate office visit & you will get billed for the copay. ya, that's stupid AF, agreed.

you get no subsidies at all?
Nope, and I hope to never qualify. I dislike taking other peoples money.
if you pay taxes, then it's YOUR own money as well.
Seems I'm a communist for wanting it to go to the publics health as opposed to the pockets of the war mongers.
DAMN YOU! you commie pinko you for caring about others

how dare you????!!!!????

It would be better than the presumption that society AS A WHOLE owns us, and can dictate our behavior, merely because of something you think might happen.

Honestly, this is why I oppose the welfare state. Not because I have a problem with my tax dollars helping the poor, but because invariably statists will use it as excuse to bully people.

Huh... I guess I just don't get what you're asking. I said what I need is none of your business, and you asked if I meant the right to an abortion. No? I wasn't referring to that.

But I'll go out on a limb here and guess that your comment was an attempt at some kind of partisan stereotype gotcha. So let me be clear: I'm an ardent and vocal supporter of a woman's right to an abortion. In fact, one of the principal concerns I have with government taking over health insurance is that the religious right will use it as a means of squelching abortion rights. If government controls health insurance, and dictates what policies cover, every single election those rights will be threatened.

Seriously, don't you get it? Don't you understand that this kind of "we-know-better" bullying is exactly why people hate Democrats?
You hate Democrats because they refuse to bow down to your Orange Deity and him doing away with the Constitution of the United States. Shades of Circa 1930 Italy and look where that got them.
LOL - you should chat with kaz, you guys are totally on the same page.
You had to search for this one.
No searching required. It's an active thread.

Now as I was reading through your Biden quotes, I hit on poster after poster you were having the same argument with as me why you're a Biden boot licker
Yet you didn't find any quotes of me actually supporting Biden, did you? Just threads where I'm arguing with idiots, like you, who assume that if I don't support Trump, I must support Biden. Or the opposite, that because I don't support Biden, I must support Trump. Both claims are false.
Actually I made a specific argument with two specific points you are ignoring. The only reason you are doing that is you know you are wrong. People who are right don't ignore the argument given like you're doing
I"ve addressed your "points" several times. But what the hell, what's another round? I searched history a bit and I'm assuming you're referring to this:

1) Show any quote where you refer to Biden supporters anything along the line of "Trumpster."

2) Show anywhere you say anything like this about Biden
These aren't points - just demands - but it seems like what you're trying to say is that because i don't have a silly name for Biden supporters, that means I am one. And that just doesn't make any sense. On the issues, I"m more critical of Democrats, and Biden, than I am of Trump.

The truth is I think Trump is a deplorable person and I think his supporters are largely deplorable people. I think he inspires the worst in people and he's s a terrible leader. That doesn't mean I support Democrats or Biden. I don't. But you're so fixated on the two-party shitshow you can't imagine another alternative.
dblack: Feed me. I don't have to participate in a discussion kaz, even about my own views. I'll give you homework assignments, you go find what I want. Then I'll word parse and bicker it. Feed me, kaz, feed me!

guess you didn't know that obamacare was based off of romeycare that was based off a (R) heathcare plan; doled out by the heritage foundation - who are (R)s.
Why would you guess that?
mentioning bad evil (D)s more than once & not the role of (R)s might be a start.
LOL - yeah, I'm getting the same shit from kaz and Uncensored2008 on the other side. It doesn't really work that way.
Note you still insult Trump and his supporters but you just disagree with Democrats, which is exactly what I said about you being an emotional Democrat.

Note also it's actual Democrats arguing with you. The libertarians on the board are all telling you you're a Democrat

then sign the waivers that state you will not call on the fire dept to come to your house if it's on fire, or the police will help you out for any crime committed against you.

then you can find a company that provides that service & make sure they have no basic protection of your house or your posessions, or your body, & you can pick & choose whether the profit driven fire dept will come if it's 'just' a kitchen fire or your whole domicile is lit up.

then you can find a 'police' corporation that you can also go ala cart - will you pay for a mugger grabbing your wallet & not an armed robber?

how'z about for a home invasion, but not grand theft auto?

^^^ this is why donny loves the poorly educated long time.

Your points don't make any fucking since, kaz. You're saying that, because I insult Trump and his supporters, I'm an "emotional Democrat"(???). And then you tell me that "libertarians" on this board are telling me I'm a Democrat. How shall I address these "points"? I don't know, nor care, what you mean by "emotional Democrat", and any idiot can call themselves "libertarian", as this board proves. So, anything else?

You're not thinking clearly. This partisan warfare you're engaged in is affecting your cognitive ability.

The government takes the money. If did not pay the taxes, I’d go to jail, therefore it is not my money. There are people in a lot worse positions that need money, the government should provide a safety net for those that really need it and once they get on their feet, they should not receive government help. The only exceptions are VA benefits for the military because of their sacrifice and SSI that you are forced to be in.

Yes, I do pay taxes, so you are wrong again. You seem to like to make up what other people, think, feel and do and it seems to always be negative. I can’t understand people that think that way.

No, sorry. That doesn't sound like anything I'd be willing to pay for. But I suppose you can pass a law forcing me to buy it, if you're really hard up and have good lobbyists.

NY 26th FINALLY DEM!
I want UHC care but the Dem's keep on voting against candidates that support that.
All Democrats want universal health Care and a living wage and help with daycare infrastructure etc like other modern countries. As usual I have no idea what you're talking about lol.
No they don't.

Obama rejects single payer

Hillary Clinton: Single-payer health care will "never, ever" happen

Biden suggests he would veto 'Medicare for All' over its price tag

Take your corporate whores and shove them.
Biden wants to get elected, it's too easy for the Republicans to scare people like you with Communism. Obamacare would be universal without being single-payer -like the Netherlands and Switzerland period try and remain calm.
LOL, another case showing what is wrong with this country. Why do you feel the need to lash out like this? Obamacare is NEVER going to be universal. It was never intended to be. Even at that, universal care where people still can not afford the deductibles and co-pays is worthless.

Obamacare was mostly a give away of our health care to the pharmaceutical and insurance industries to make sure the campaign donations continued to roll in.

You scare me more than the Republicans. At least they don't pretend to care.
there is no limit to what Obamacare can evolve into, it will b3 tinkered with forever and is simply a basic framework. However there are regulations on big health and big pharma for the first goddamn time. And someday the GOP will be thrown out of the way and the Democrats can get what they want. Your reaction is pure idiocy. Go after the cost, don't give it back to the old GOP scam and screw the Rubes system..... The propagandizing GOP is a long-running disaster for everyone but the greedy idiot-rich and you are their Dupe

if you discuss anything outside the realm of a 'physical' then it's considered a seperate office visit & you will get billed for the copay. ya, that's stupid AF, agreed.

you get no subsidies at all?
Nope, and I hope to never qualify. I dislike taking other peoples money.
if you pay taxes, then it's YOUR own money as well.
The government takes the money. If did not pay the taxes, I’d go to jail, therefore it is not my money. There are people in a lot worse positions that need money, the government should provide a safety net for those that really need it and once they get on their feet, they should not receive government help. The only exceptions are VA benefits for the military because of their sacrifice and SSI that you are forced to be in.
unless one is uber rich - anybody fortunate to have a little cash in their pocket can suddenly be wiped out & then some because of an unforseen medical tradgedy & then really need the help. why does it hafta get to that point?

for PECs. They are not only for the ACA, they help all insurances except what tramp came out with short term plans, they only cover you if your young and healthy.

Short term plans were created to help fill temporary gaps in coverage that can occur in certain situations. These types of plans are typically not good substitutes for traditional health plans. They do not have to adhere to ACA standards. They provide limited benefits with generally much higher costs.

They are pretty much the same as cobra, except they don't cover you if your have a PEC. I know a lot of you are on Medicare, but don't you want people younger to have PEC's coverage, your children and your grandkids?

Be wary of signing up for Advantage Plans.

Say bye if you vote for tramp.

He doesn't have a plan.

The republicans want to go back to pre the ACA.
Obama's taking control of 1/5 of the private sector to save me money over doubled my insurance for half the care and a deductible that can never be met. My daughter had to wait to the emergency beeper in her heart pace maker was going off before they would change the battery. So what you say would make me laugh if my family hadn't lived the fucked up obama care bull shit including the death squad so peddle your bull shit to some ignorant bastard liberal that don't know better. My whole life I have taken care of my family's health and didn't need some power hungry ass hole to do it for me. Never would no family member be close to death before meeting his death squads requirements. Until that piece of shit is hanging from a rope will justice return to this country.
Apparently you were on the cheapest plan. The bronze plans.
You know better, do you REALLY ant to make the case those on Gold Plans get better treatment than those on the Bronze?

Retract it, we BOTH you are lying here.
