Bea Arthur and Betty White hated each other, from what I read. Bea said Betty wanted to be the most focused on the show and was difficult to work with...and was a major *****. Betty said Bea was jealous and wanted the spotlight. Rue and Estelle stayed out of their way whenever possible.
