And given my military speciality - Chemical Scout, I do know that counter-intelligence and counter-sabotage guys (especially from NATO countries) can be pretty nasty (we have watched some photos and videos of their work). You'd better to kill yourself before they actually capture you.
I don't think that Iranian special services are somehow worse or better than American ones and they are better motivated because they are fighting for the very existence of their country.
