Trump indeed is not a Republican but is far more closely allied with the Republican Party despite its faults than he is with the anti-American Democrats that he agrees with in very little.

Trump is neither partisan nor ideologue which makes him anathema to the Democrats and occasionally gets him in trouble with the Republican. Even though his businesses seek to do business around the world, he genuinely puts America first and wants to do good things for America and Americans.

Until Trump, with one of two exceptions, the Republican Party was worse than useless, they were Globalists. The democrat Party was the Express train to Fascism, Republicans were the Local.

Since Newt Gingrich and his reformer Republicans in the 1990's, nobody knows better than I do how feckless the GOP has been. When they had the majority, they too often didn't even try or just put bandaids on things instead of actually fixing the problem.

Trump had to contend with some of that in his first term and even now the likes of Murkowski, Collins, McConnell and a few others have no sense of the MAGA vision or what he is trying to accomplish. Or don't want their own gravy trains derailed.

We Patriots seriously need to do everything we can to get good information out there that the legacy MSM is still suppressing and help every way we can to increase the Republican majorities in Congress in the midterms. We need enough MAGA Republicans to override the few remaining old guard and hopefully encourage them into early retirement or primary them out.
