We will run out of oil ... some day ... and that day will be a very bad one to start working on the alternative ... today is a far far better day to start setting up the regulatory structure for passing nuclear power plant designs ...

Some say that if oil is used up then we'll look for the difficult oil that will cost more money. It hasn't happened yet as the price of oil (adjusted for inflation) is what it was 30 years ago. My take is that if the price ever does go up then we can be concerned For now let's understand that we're talking about something that's never happened before.
