Gee...I wonder why?

Egypt occupied Jaffa in 1937?

Link?

Jordan occupied the West Bank and Egypt occupied Gaza after the 1948 Arab Israeli War.

OK, so why the Palestinian flag in Jaffa in 1937?
Only if it is a "Palestinian Flag". The flag is actually a flag of the ARAB NATIONALIST MOVEMENT and same identical flag was used by by two rulers in Mecca and the "Mashriq" in 1917. You're not proposing that Palestine is now in Mecca too, are you? Ha ha ha check mate:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharif_Hussein
Hussein bin Ali, GCB (حسین بن علی Ḥusayn bin ‘Alī ; 1854 – 4 June 1931) was the Sharif and Emir of Mecca from 1908 until 1917, when he proclaimed himself and was internationally recognized as King of the Kingdom of Hejaz. He initiated the Arab Revolt in 1916 against the increasingly nationalistic Ottoman Empire during the course of the First World War. In 1924, when the Ottoman Caliphate was abolished, he further proclaimed himself Caliph of all Muslims. He ruled Hejaz until 1924, when, defeated by Abdul Aziz al Saud, he abdicated the kingdom and other secular titles to his eldest son Ali.

The flag was used by Sharif Hussein by 1917 at the latest and quickly became regarded as the flag of the Arab national movement in the Mashriq.

That is the same flag Palestine has had since before Israel.

Your source is a load of crap.

Can you produce evidence of this from a non muslim site ?

Al Hambra Theatre, Jaffa, 1937, flying Palestinian flag.

So we have only your word that it is the Palestinian flag and that the picture is dated 1937. On making the picture larger you can see than the flag has been photoshopped onto the flagpole and that It is very blurred and indistinct. Try again..............:cuckoo: :eusa_boohoo:

It wasn't as you can hardly see what flag it is, and in 1937 the British army controlled Jaffa
Tinny has posted this Arab National flag and lied about it being a "Palestinian flag" many times before. Each time he gets humiliated and waits a few months before he posts it again. Pathetic existence.

There is more:

The Royal Standard of Jordan

Royal_Standard_of_Jordan.PNG

"Jordan's royal standard is quite unique, it has a small national flag in the centre, on a white oval, only the star in the triangle is replaced by an arched crown. The field is made up of rays in the state colours, black in each corner (like a St Andrew's cross) then white, green, white, red, white, repeats".
Flags of the Middle East

Gee the Palestinian and Jordanian flag look almost IDENTICAL. I wonder why? Perhaps because Jordan IS ARAB PALESTINE?!

There is more Roudy.

You have probably heard of the B'aathist movement, which was intended to unite Arab and Middle East nations as one large united state.

Forward thinking, in terms of having one large economic bloc to act in a coordinated way, like the US does and the EU doesn't yet. In recognition of this aim many supporting nations took similar flags. As below:

arab%20flags.jpg

black is for the prophet Mohammed. Green is shite, followers of Ali; white is for the Umayyad Dynasty, sunni; red is for the Hashemites, descendants of the prophet; the eagle is the coat of arms of Saladin.

From the original 1964 Palestinian National Charter:

Article 1. Palestine is an Arab homeland bound by strong Arab national ties to the rest of the Arab Countries and which together form the great Arab homeland.
