Newsflash. There are extremist and occasionally violent Israelis. Israelis both recognize it and condemn the violence. Israelis also recognize that both the real numbers and the perception of "Area C Israeli violence" are grossly exaggerated.

There are extremist and violent Arabs "Palestinians". As well as those who support extremism and violence while not perpetrating it on their own. Proportionately, there are far more extremist Arab "Palestinians" than Israelis.

And Jewish people living in their ancestral homeland are not settlers. Israelis living in Israel and Israel-controlled territory (by customary international law and by treaty, thus lawfully) are not settlers. Just call them what you mean: Israelis or Jews.

You all appear to hold the simplistic assumption:

Your dismissive remarks about various Israeli historians indicate you are not overly keen to assess that country's history through a more nuanced lens.

The level of ignorance about the history of Islam and Israel along with pejorative comments about Muslims per se that I have read on this site precisely indicate the oversimplistic "goody and baddy" view of Muslims and Islam, and the modern state of Israel.
