Palestinians cannot ever recognize the state of Israel. That would mean that they accept and approve their dispossession. They could never do that, no people would ever do that.
Yes. The Arab Palestinians see it as a zero sum game. The cost of ending the conflict, to the Arab Palestinians, is the erasure of the Jewish people. You say no people would ever do that -- accept and approve their dispossession. The Jewish people will not submit to erasure of their people, their history or their sovereignty.
So where does that leave us? The Arab Palestinians, by your own admission, refuse peace. They will fight until there is no more "Jew rule". They force a zero sum game. The cost of forcing a zero sum game is losing.
No, the demographics will force a zero sum game, and the Jews will lose, unless the Jews begin compromising. A federal state, a confederation like Switzerland or a single secular and democratic state that is neither Jewish, Muslim or Christian.
