Gov. Gavin Newsom found a novel way to boost both his political war chest and his memoir sales, by tying the two together.

The Democrat offered supporters a copy of his book, “Young Man in a Hurry: A Memoir of Discovery,” in exchange for donations of any size to his political action committee.

New federal filings released Wednesday show Newsom’s PAC, Campaign for Democracy, shelled out $1,561,875 to purchase and distribute those books through the promotion.

Damn, If ya can't sell em. Ask for a donation and give them away.

lots of things increased on his watch,higher cost of living,he hasnt handled the gas situation that well,energy grid strain,education used to be good....newsome is an elitist who thinks his shit dont stink,and he hasnt helped as much as you people seem to think he has....all the negative things you hear or read about him are pretty true...he should be concerned about why so many have left the state and why and do something about it...its pretty sad when so many people who helped build the state have to leave when they retire because they cant afford to live there,all the years i lived there never heard him or the asses in Sacramento talk about that...
