I dont understand what gas prices means to this thread. California has the highest housing prices in the country. Guess why? More people want houses than their are houses. It has the most demand.

Gas prices....along with their gas tax is expensive for everyone....not just the rich.

Gas prices are a single commodity in California. Average income in California is $50k vs Texas $41k. Gas prices arent putting a dent in that so I am not sure what you are talking about.

California IS expensive because everyone wants to live there. No one wants to live in Texas so everything HAS to be cheaper.
