Isn't really happening. The border (and immigration) doesn't really change much from one administration to the next. Trump is lying to you first, about immigrant violent crime statistics. The truth is non immigrant U.S.citizens commit much more violent crime than immigrants.
The reason Trump had to convince the low-lying political fruit of America that there was any "border crisis" to begin with is that it was necessary to pave the way for Trump's frontal assault on The U.S. Constitution and The 14th Amendment protections that non white immigrants are entitled to. Whipping up hysteria about brown-skinned "invaders" at the southern border was (is) just Trump gaslighting his MAGAts into saying "ok, I guess The U.S. Constitution is not THAT sacred after all" so when he wants to strip birthright citizenship and due process from non white immigrants you guys are just fine with that.
Democrats on the ither hand, understand how dangerous this eroding of constitution rights (for ANYONE) is. It's a slippery slope once you start letting a tyrannical government carve up constitutional rights.
