No place in the Eastern half of SD has had gas as high as $2.94 for several months. It has gone up in the last ten days, maybe, but it's in the $2.50's where I fill up.

The most fair and accurate method to assess a President’s policies impact on the price of gas is to look at the average annual price per gallon of gas under each President’s term ( 4 years) to account for the fluctuations.

The Energy Information Administration compiled a study from 2001 (GW Bush) until 2023 (Biden). Looking at each term, the average annual price per gallon of gas under each Presidential term was under $3 for the Republican Presidents ( Bush, Trump) and over $3 for the Democrat Presidents (Obama, Biden).

That is a lot of data points to show that the excessive regulations and policies Democrats put on the US Domestic Energy Companies yield higher prices of gas.

This is obviously untrue.

A president whose policies raise gas prices from $3 a gallon to $6 a gallon would have the same average prices as a president whose policies lower gas prices from $6 a gallon to $3 a gallon.

Don’t be a hack. You chose a metric out of political convenience.

I'm switching over to Sunoco's 93 after fueling with the Shell's 93 for many years. Mainly just to try Sunoco's additive package versus Shell's.

Plus the Shell station I've been fueling at for thirty years turned into a ''Dash-in'' sandwich and snack place aimed at the fatties more so than the fuelers and now sells their own blend of fuel. And they're also way more expensive on fuel of all grades, ironically. So, yeah, no...huh uh.

It's 3.67 Federal Reserve Notes for 93 at the Sunoco.

Not too bad, really.

At the same Sunoco it's 2.97 Federal Reserve Notes for the cheapest stuff the serfs seem to always want to base everything on.

Kind of like when double-talking jive turkeys choose to measure the effect of inflation on the cost of living by the price of hamburger because they can no longer afford to buy steak kind of deal.

Here in Ohio I paid $2.56 at Speedway this morning.

Temporary bump. Traders are unsure whether the Mullahs will be able to close the Strait of Hormuz so the price is moving up. But once they see oil flowing freely, after all, the US Navy is escorting tankers through it, the price of petroleum problems will decrease. Commodity traders tend to be a skittish bunch
