Never thought he would run. Were dragging him bodily kicking and screaming to even talk about the possibility.

He may have actually predicted his own new job: Secretary of State, demoted to a lower position in the line of succession. Sanders would have an immediately credible foreign policy, and Clinton could make jokes about the Vice Presidential server, instead. The one at the CIA is apparently, really funny(?)!
