Absolutely, it makes sense to leverage our support for the war with economic advantage.

I'm for it, because I don't think it is possible for the US agriculture industry to have an abrupt removal of the majority of their workforce. There simply aren't enough Americans willing to do that kind of work for anywhere near those wages, and the economic impact would be too much. I believe Trump has also figured that out so is trying to slowly boil the frog and get his supporters to accept him changing his mind on something he campaigned against. It wouldn't surprise me if he slowly warmed up to letting hotel industry labor get a free pass too.

However it sounds like you're against it, so if Trump carves out exceptions for undocumented agriculture workers (and I think he will) it would be interesting because I'd be supporting Trump's actions and you'd be against it. To take that further I could use your shallow method and declare you anti-Trump and anti-MAGA.

Amnesty or mass deportations that leaves produce rotting in the field

A compromise might include allowing male guest workers to remain where needed, but not their entire extended family

The workers would be identified, background checked and monitored

The farmers would be required to give them minimum wage and offer the job at that price to Americans if they want to work
