I honestly don't think so. There are a lot of people who were raised to never vote Democrat, and many of them probably vote Trump while shaking their heads at whatever he has done to offend them.

My parents were like that, Dad was Army and they were lifelong Republicans, but had a hard time rationalizing the disrespect that Trump showed towards the military (Gold Star, McCain, bone spurs) but in the end they decided he's an okay guy with some bad aspects to his character.

A compromise might include allowing male guest workers to remain where needed, but not their entire extended family

The workers would be identified, background checked and monitored

The farmers would be required to give them minimum wage and offer the job at that price to Americans if they want to work
