Thieves rob all kinds of businesses. Marijuana businesses are no different.

It's no reason to stop legal marijuana use and business.

It's a good reason to change laws to protect lawful business.

Retail sales around here uses only the best buds ... there's still quite a bit of smokable material afterwards that will get you quite high ... this just gets thrown into the county dump, can't even give it away ... maybe $10 a bushel ... we're talking medicinal grade, not KGB, so no big deal ... two or three plants in your garden and you don't have to pay anything ... it grows like a weed, ask any Iowa soybean farmer ...

You know, this wouldn't be a problem if the government would remove marijuana from Schedule I and put it down around III or IV. Then, it wouldn't be illegal federally anymore and marijuana dispensaries could become part of the banking system.

Right now? Marijuana shops don't have access to the banking system which makes it a cash only business, and as such, are quite prone to robberies.
