1) Use the Medicare computers to put everyone on Medicare
2) mail every American a voucher for $8300 (average what we spend now)
3) what is not spent can be converted to cash at year end
4) make all providers publish prices in comparable way so Americans can shop
5) if vouchers do not pay for 100% govt pays remainder
6) use saving to pay off national debt in 6 years

What is this, the 3rd thread you've started on this? Send your ideas to congress.

Ed, you're a silly, silly, fascist. The free market isn't a good thing because it will pay off the national debt. It's a good thing because it's free.

First, the "free market" thing is just as much of a pile of horse shit as "trickle down economics." Next, using universal health care would probably save this country a lot. But I doubt if it would pay off the national debt. Also, why should it. Health care didn't cause our national debt.

China just switched to free market and instantly eliminated
40% of the entire planets poverty. 1+1=2

No. China is still a communist country. The only thing they switched to is a different form of warfare to defeat the Americans. By swallowing up our jobs. Even if it means polluting the hell out of their country.

our health care is socialist so it costs 5 times more than it should. The saving could pay off the national debt in 6 years. It's truly a win win!!

Here are 3 books with which to begin your education:

"Capitalism With Chinese Characteristics"

"How China Became Capitalist"

In his new book titled Markets over Mao: The rise of private businesses in China, Lardy argues that even though SOEs still enjoy monopoly positions in some key sectors in China, such as energy and telecommunications, their role in the overall economy has diminished significantly over the years. Here are some of the facts he presents to back his thesis: in 2011, China’s state-controlled firms only accounted for about a quarter of the country’s industrial output; and their share in exports has dropped to about 11% today; in 2012, state firms were only responsible for about one-tenth of fixed investment in manufacturing. And in terms of employment, SOEs employed about 13% of China’s labor force in 2011, a dramatic decline compared with the 60% figure recorded in 1999.

you want to give tax breaks to the poor so they will invent stuff that will trickle up to the rich??? Slow????

Where did I ever mention anything about giving anybody tax breaks. As for the wealthy and all of the trickle down entitlement it gives to their descendants and their descendants descendants, there is only one cure. To lay them down on a guillotine and cut their heads off! It's the only thing that works. Until it is done, many morons and scum like Trump will continue to preach that the only way to create jobs in the U.S. is to get the poor to pay for it. Such as through tax breaks.

Do we have universal, single payer health care? No. So you can't call our health care "socialist." Also, I will SHOW you what cost what. In terms of the true measure of wealth. Which is the GDP. You can compare the percentage of the national GDP that countries with universal health care pat compared to what our country pays.

The last I heard, China was still a communist country. Regardless of how they decided to tweak their economy.
