The 24-hour news cycle is a problem that few want to address. There is simply not that much news to fill the air time, so they add commentary and repeat the same stories time after time, day after day.

My view (I occasionally switch around and watch different news channels) is that you RARELY see an objective "expert" commenting on the day's events. It's always some political hack from one side or the other, spewing their side's slant on what is happening. Most are so predictably slanted that they should be forever banned from the airwaves, not by Government, but by the news services. Why is anybody putting a microphone in front of Hillary Fukking Clinton or James Carville? They have NOTHING relevant to say, and they are constantly proven wrong in all their predictions.
